I’m Shini — a mother, educator, psychologist, and a woman learning to find her way through grief.
I write about love and loss, memories and milestones, the questions grief leaves behind, and the quiet ways we learn to live with an absence that never truly leaves.
This space grew from my journey with Sid — from the love he left behind and the ways his presence continues to find me in the smallest moments. It is a place for my reflections, my questions, my memories, and the pieces of light I discover along the way.
I don’t have all the answers. I am simply learning, one day at a time, how to carry love alongside loss and still find meaning in living.
If you have arrived here carrying your own grief, I hope you find a little warmth, understanding, and the gentle reminder that you are not alone.
